Area Surgery allows the management of both a minor operation in day surgery and a classic operation during an admission. Made up of different windows, this program is ideal for classic and videolaparoscopic surgery; the selection of the patient's positions on the operation bed helps the visibility of the surgery access both in VL and open-sky surgery.
An important feature of Area Surgery is the option to display simultaneously the operation procedures in two windows: in one window (for example in VL) you can display the instruments used during the operation and the surgeon's activity, in the other one you can display the instrument used in the abdominal cavity. Therefore, the surgeon can capture simultaneously both photos and videos with the micro-transmitter or cordless pedal supplied while he/she's performing the operation.
The program also manages a file with all the characteristics of the operation, complications included, and the post-intervention procedures such as drainages and medications. As soon as the patient is discharged, a discharge document can be printed automatically and in a few steps, enabling the surgeon to save a lot of time during the drawing up of all the data.
Area Surgery allows to supervise the operated patient during the examinations following the discharge.
Another important feature is the possibility to carry out Epidemiologic-Statistics research in all the fields of the patient's file, as well as a detailed Administrative-Statistics research in very short times.
